Splinter Cell-Double Agent

Splinter Cell, the most popular and realistic video game of the last few years releses the first version for the Wii. Along with the recent television series (plural) invloving prisons and coirts and the like. Splinter Cell has this time got itself a piece of the action and the start of the game is based in an execution chamber in a Prison.
After he escapes he gets hired by two different intellegence agencies, obviously produces the title 'double agent'. During this part of the game you get a 'trust meter' which pretty much tells you how you are doing, with trust being the currency. The aim is to try and keep it near the centre and not to get to one-sided otherwise you could comprimise your position as an agent. This in real life would require the upmost organisation, something many of us definately can't do! The rest of the story I wont spoil for you but seen as the gameplay is relatively short I dont think you'll be waiting to long.
During gameplay the graphics on the Wii are completely outstanding, as always fro the Splinter Cell range. The controls are mostly button based but there are three main motion sensed ones; on the nun-chuck, lifting it up makes the characeter (Sam) jump up, twisting the remote makes him stick to the nearst wall and on the wiimote pushing forward is used for picking locks. Unfortunately though, the multiplayer and online modes are missing, which is a big let down for the game Sad and this continues the long streak of non-online enabled games.

Ratings
Gameplay : 7/10 - great graphics, lacks realistic gameplay, but is fun.
Controls : 6/10 - well layed out though alot more could be achieved.
Playtime : 5/10 - A let down, no multiplayer and a short story.

Overall : 18/30 - Standard
Overall, rather dissapointing, lots of features missing, and leaves alot more to be desired.
