Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles was thought to be a side story by many people but in fact the story is set directly after the events of Code Veronica and will lead into Resident Evil 5. The style of the game is supposed to be close to Resident Evil 4 but tweaked to fit with the Wiimote. Using the Wiimote to aim the gun will make the game more engaging and intense to play.

There are supposedly more than one playable character some of which are Leon, Jill and Wesker. The game is made up places from previous Resident Evil games but I'm not certain what parts they are using, I've heard that they're using the Island or Mansion for RE4. Also you have the option now to break down doors or pick lock them open but if you decided to kick the door down, then there are consequences and the zombies will hear the noise and find you!

There are rumors that you may be able to go into first person mode and it'll be like an arcade shooters but it isn't definite whether these parts are set, you choose when or if there not going to be in the game. The game is due to be released in late 2007 and is possible Game of the Year title.

Thanks for that, was looking at the new resident eveil game for wii a few days ago and it seems that there will be one. I'll keep you lot updated if i get any more information on this game as it is on my list to get.
