OK, so we have all been wondering where the system is, and why it hasnt been integrated into many games as of yet. Well I tried to dig up as much information on this and I found this, this morning while surfing around.

Games company IGN [link] will now use their software, GameSpy to help power the Wii's multiplayer compatibility. GameSpy is a revolutionary piece of software that allows users to game over the internet aswel as, Matchmaking, Friend Lists and leaderboards, amognst others out there. The software is already in use at an extent in the Nintendo DS range.

The first game to be released with this new exciting multiplayer software will be 'Pokemon : Battle Revolution' and it is due to release June 25th.

"This partnership will expand our wireless community of players on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection," Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime says.

Splintercell Double Agent has Co-op mode.

@Alex; Of course pokemon rocks, I watched two hours of it yesterday and I'm nearly 17 :O

Yes, double agent is a good co-op game, but the graphics aren't that good honestly. Looks alot more like the second splinter cell. Other than that, the gameplay in co-op mode is pretty cool though. There is alot of teamwork involved, which I have never seen in a co-op game before this. Fun stuff.

yeah nice to hear really I cant wait until it finally becomes normal on every game to have a multiplayer function!

I still havent seen double agent yet!
