Microsoft: wii for babies

Yes, you did hear it right! :o

Microsoft publically called the wii a 'console for babies' well if you look at what he says.

John Rodman, Microsoft Live Product Manager said:
' "We don't feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing," Rodman reportedly said. "We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14, they want something else." '

Agreed. The funniest thing is that these people are supposed to be smart enough to keep these remarks to themselves. Obviously Microsoft needs to rethink some of their staff members. Tongue

you know what, there even stupider, another member of staff jsut said this:

XCN: The Xbox 360 Elite console is the most expensive Xbox 360 yet, but Nintendo’s Wii has been selling really well and it’s very cheap. Why are you introducing a more expensive console?

Mike Newey: The Nintendo Wii is great fun, but it’s a games console and very little else. Aside from standard def gaming it has very limited functionality compared to the Xbox 360. For a few pounds or Euros more than the Wii we offer high definition gaming with Xbox 360 Core, which you can always upgrade with a hard drive and other accessories if you want to.

arent these guys meant to be smart??

I have an XBox 360 and a Wii and I think that the Wii is a much better performing machine. At least I don't have to wonder if my game is going to play. The Wii has never said to me "Please put disc in a Wii Console"... unlike the 360!
