It's probably not a glitch, it's probably just a feature they've added, I don't know I don't own the game maybe it's an easter egg they didn't want to let people know.

i remember playin some maddens for ps2, it would correspond with the time and date, so if you were playin at 9 pm it would be dark and so on, just now it can have the exact temp and rain and snow, just a cool feature expected from the madden series.
